We, as Christian husbands and wives, do have the promises of eternal life and salvation from our sins. So why aren't we actively chasing our own holiness? And, as a husband, I would pose this question specifically to the men; why aren't we leading by example?
Make no mistake, we are not talking about justification... this is a process of sanctification that is on-going and ever-growing, bringing us closer and closer to the likeness of Jesus. His cross justified us for all eternity; but how we carry ours will sanctify us further.
Spend time today with your spouse in prayer for the cleansing of yourselves. Your audience is important, and they must learn from you how this is done... because the world will teach them otherwise, and never stop.
