Confession is a key element of repentance. And as we all go through this process together, I can assure you that it does get less difficult. As a local saint in my church says, "when you are chasing sanctification, you begin to truly hate unholiness in your life."
Those "pet" sins become easier to spot, more difficult to justify, and far simpler to deal with. And remember, if it were not for Jesus and his sacrifice at Calvary, NOT ONE HUMAN BEING ON THE PLANET could measure up to the standards God has set before us. Jesus makes it possible!
Pray together today, thanking Jesus for your ability to boldly approach the Throne and cast your sins and cares on Him. Spend time confessing whatever the Spirit is showing you. Empty your heart and cleanse your thoughts... because Kingdom purposes are all that matter.
