"The Lord will fight for you: you must be quiet."
Exodus 14:14
We are the vessels; not the captains. We are the vehicles; not the drivers.
And "be quiet" says to me that we should silence our flesh, above all else, and listen for His leading. We may very well speak, but it will be because He has led us to do so. If we speak or sing or write or teach or preach from our own flesh and thoughts, and not from Him, then we serve our own purposes. But if we allow Him to teach us (and each person will learn differently, through different circumstances and different verses, even though all will come under the One Truth that Christ is King), and we accept the blessings He brings... even and especially when they are meant to bring us away from certain things... then He will tell us what to say and when.
He fights for me today, and I know it as certainly as I know that I type here to you. He fights for you, too, brothers and sisters. Say a prayer of thanks for that today, and honor the Lord in doing so!
God bless you all!!!
